BBC’s chief international correspondent – perhaps one of the most well-known and respected Canadian women in broadcasting.
Her words of wisdom and assessment within the video are very provoking.
My contribution to Lyse Doucet’s final comments are included in my observations below.
Perhaps Carney’s full hero status can only get finally achieved by beating Trump at own game – that is getting fully recognised as Planet Earth’s FIRST ‘elected’ world leader. By offering deliverables that are in harmony with 8 billion people’s hopes and dreams.
Carney, Trump and or anyone else challenging for the TOP SPOT status will need to include the creation and a positive delivery of a convincing new set of future focused ‘Planet Earth Commandments’, perhaps starting with ten as a starting point!!
They will also need to be fit for a future Solar System Governance Operation – not just Planet Earth itself!!

Solving the “Linnegan Paradox” – Suggested New Commandments for Governance for next Ten Years (2026–2036)
The guiding principle for the next decade must be to focus on “One Planet – One Nation Thinking.”
Every major decision made by the UN, 193 independent countries, Big Tec and Global fund mangers that will affecting humanity’s or planet earth’s wellbeing or earth must be carefully reviewed before acceptance after considering the wellbeing, stability, and long-term survival of Planet Earth and all life upon it.
- Each nation will remain fully sovereign and free to choose its own system of governance, culture, and economic model – without fear, coercion, or prejudice from other nations.
- The United Nations will be fundamentally re-energised and modernised. Its future leader will be chosen through a transparent global voting process, allowing the voices of all 8 billion people to be heard through a secure Smartphone Democratic process, requiring a two-thirds global majority – no more first passed the post outcomes (proven decisive so many times).
- Any decision made by governments, financial institutions, or major technology corporations that could significantly impact the planet must receive prior United Nations review. Decision-makers will utilise advanced AI and scientific modelling to ensure policies align with the long-term sustainability and prosperity of Earth.
- The United Nations will lead the planning and coordination of major global infrastructure projects, debated and approved collectively. Taxation will evolve into a dual system: national taxation to fund domestic governance, and a coordinated global contribution to finance shared planetary initiatives.
- Nations will remain independent, but global assessment systems will become more transparent – evaluating each country’s contribution to maintaining a prosperous, safe, and thriving Earth for all life forms.
- The United Nations will oversee humanity’s expansion into the Solar System, establishing the foundations of interplanetary governance. While existing Earth-based property rights remain intact, all Solar System resources will be considered a shared heritage of humanity, belonging equally to all who live and work within it. KEY
- Innovation will remain primarily driven by the private sector, but taxation from new technologies and industries will be balanced between national needs and the funding of global projects that benefit humanity as a whole.*
- Global legislation will guide the responsible development of information technology, robotics, and artificial intelligence, alongside the introduction of a Global Universal Basic Income (UBI) framework designed to ensure dignity and economic security for every person.
- The United Nations will work toward establishing global standards for healthcare and education, ensuring that fundamental human rights, opportunity, and knowledge are available to all people regardless of geography.
- UN Legislation will ensure the Courts system will resolve all future country and big tech disputes (both on and off the planet). Individual countries will retain their own defence system but will commit to national defence operations.
A Moratorium will need to be created through Middle Nations finally exercising power – by negotiating simply on economic and sovereignty constraints not simply threats of military coercion. For example for the next ten years (2036) all nuclear weapons to be collectively stored in a single one location – South Pole. UN controlled and monitored. Each country with a nuclear capability being able to closely monitor each other’s countries maintenance programmes. KEY
Your conclusion?- would you be for or against Mark Carney’s opportunity to steering Planet Earth back towards the post WW2 days of euphoria, when the UN actually had real power, influence and respect – not merely the puppet regime as we know it today. It has been mercilessly deformed through 80 years of political corruption, dictatorship and, more recently, global fund managers simply colluding with Big Tech.

Indications show he believes (in his universe) that he is the only current World Leader fit to transform ruptured Planet Earth back to its former glory. He is the only man, supposedly operating within UN operations, with the courage and tenacity to make decisions of this magnitude, but willing to change his mind, should certain situations arise where superpower bullying delivers the results he require.
Given over half the UN’s members seem willing to consider a restored UN led style of representative democracy reflecting the collective interest of a 193 members, his dreams are likely to remain unfilled.
Recent evidence suggests that a much larger proportion of energy and rare minerals and other resources for necessity for further technological supremacy are now located within the middle nations, inspiring the recent further aggression from the superpowers. Fortunately the combined middle powers collective exceeds that of any single individual superpower. Superpowers need to be increasing cautious about how much control they actually willing to command.
Trumps recent demand for greater control over Canada’s ports operations gives a very clearly signal of elements of their fragility for the very first time.
As one of John Lennon’s lyric once declared “All we are saying is give Peace a Chance”
Now the middle powers are re-discovering their collective power can truly be a GAME CHANGER OPPRTUNITY, finally offering that resolve the current Linnegan Paradox. Finally, 8 billion people have the opportunity to take control over the planet’s future destiny instead of a just a handful of people.
A set of unique, independent and seemingly unrelated events are coalescing right now on Planet Earth to significantly increase there chances.

Changes globally including Putin loosing its influence over Hungary (to affect EU status) and with Ukraine finally gaining the upper-hand in drone technology are opportunities which must now be seized.
Carpe diem now or watch the Planet rupture are our only two choices.
Let’s be honest – everyone must take Carney’s intentions with absolute confidence and enthusiasm.
Earth’s continued survival is at stake.
Where is Plan B?
The Superpowers currently propaganda of the ‘Might is Right’ mantra must be successfully challenged and their current weaponry threats must be curbed significantly.
Sadly, with their military force and ability to independent release their nuclear weapons their threat is still very real – but no longer an insurmountable problem.
If you have got this far – good job – spend a few more minutes checking out Trump’s motives for his actions right now.
Putin killing his own Russian people and Trump killing innocent Iranian men, women and children are not activity any civilised world or civilisations will accept. Somethings must change.
Sort outing Linnegan Paradox is the top priority.
You never know, creating a successful happy, prosperous Perfect Planet within a super-efficient Solar System – applying equality and togetherness not brazen warfare may also enable us to resolve our ongoing Fermi Paradox conundrum as well – gaining full membership to this exclusive club.
A civilised Solar System must be the overwhelming priority for 8 billion people working in harmony not just for humans but all the life forms – intelligent or otherwise.
